This 1991 Nissan Figaro is a Japanese-market fixed-profile convertible that was imported to the US in 2018 and was acquired by the current owner on BaT in August 2023. The car is finished in Pale Aqua over Creme leather upholstery and powered by a turbocharged 987cc inline-four paired with a three-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes a retractable white fabric top on fixed pillars, 12? wheels with white and chrome covers, a Pioneer touchscreen head unit, and air conditioning. This Figaro shows 20k kilometers (~13k miles) and is offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with spare parts and a clean California title.

Based on the Nissan Micra, the Figaro was offered in four colors to represent the different seasons. This “Summer” example is finished in Pale Aqua (6K9) and features a white roof, a roll-back soft top, headlight visors, Figaro-branded mud flaps, dual exhaust outlets, and bright trim and bumpers. A dent in the right door is noted to have been repaired before the car was imported to the US, and faded trim below the rear window can be viewed in the photo gallery below along with a dent in the front bumper.

The 12? steel wheels wear white disc covers with hubcaps and are mounted with 165/70 Yokohama DNA ECOS ES300 tires. Suspension consists of front MacPherson struts and an independent four-link rear setup with coil springs, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.

The right-hand-drive cabin features front bucket seats with adjustable headrests as well as a two-place rear bench upholstered in Creme leather. Interior amenities include a Pioneer touchscreen head unit with Bluetooth capabilities, power windows, and air conditioning. Additional speakers, a subwoofer, and a rearview camera are said to have been added under previous ownership.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 180-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 20k kilometers (~13k miles), approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The turbocharged 987cc MA10ET inline-four was factory rated at 75 horsepower and 78 lb-ft of torque, and it drives the front wheels through a three-speed automatic transaxle. The selling dealer notes the fuel filter and CV axle boots were replaced in November 2023, and an oil change was performed at that time. The engine was modified to meet California emissions standards in June 2019, and a California Bureau of Automotive Repair sticker affixed to the right door jamb can be viewed in the gallery. The car last passed a California emissions test in May 2024.

A set of hubcaps and Atlas whitewall tire inserts will accompany the car along with additional spare and removed parts including the factory CD/cassette stereo.
